If you would like explicit details regarding each motherboard, google search the specific motherboard model. Then select the manufacturer's web site.

If all that information means nothing to you or is information overload, I recommend going to a computer repair shop or a local computer manufacturer with your questions. He should be able to recommend the motherboard which will be best for what you want to accomplish.

I hope this helps.

ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe - Price ; $165 to $190

Doesnt support Quad GPU's yet!

Although the BIOS has enough tweaking and overclocking options to satisfy most users, it doesn't go above and beyond what's become standard fare for enthusiast-class boards.

MSI K8N Diamond Plus- Price $200 upwards

The inclusion of the on-board Soundblaster Audigy and the elegant heat pipe design deserve special mention and are laudable.

Whether you are talking about an SLI setup consisting of four graphics chips, three separate graphics cards for a total of six displays, the Athlon 64 FX-60 or the odd overclocking adventure - the K8N Diamond Plus is ready for prime time.

Final Conclusion:

If you want Nvidia's SLI—currently a more mature dual graphics technology than CrossFire—and have the budget for an Nforce4 X16 board, then either the MSI or ASUS boards will work well.

The ASUS A8N32-SLI will yield slightly better game performance and does offer a bit more in terms of overclocking capability.

But the MSI K8N Diamond Plus is laid out a little more logically and allows for more flexible expansion options.

It Also includes good selection of sound powered by inbuilt Audigy!

• Price when ranked: $200

• Full Specs

• Check latest prices PCW Rating: 83 Very Good

The P5N32-SLI includes an innovative heat-pipe cooling system. The placement of the SATA ports right behind the second graphics card port may be a problem if you want to build a power system containing several graphics cards and hard drives.

• Check latest prices PCW Rating: 81 Very Good

The unusual four-fan cooling system of the GA-G1975X is an interesting approach to the problem of getting heat away from the motherboard, but it's only partly successful: It is a little noisy, and the bright blue LEDs that illuminate it may not appeal to all.
