After reinstalling Windows XP, all websites have now lost their background colour and clickable graphics, including my Yahoo! homepage. E.g. on this page, the 'Ask', 'Answer' and 'Read best answers' boxes at top of this page are blank, and all web page backgrounds are white. What has gone wrong, and how can I fix it? Nothing I've tried in 'Display' has made a difference. Thanks.

Assuming you're using Internet Explorer now, I'll second the Firefox recommendation. Not only will it probably fix your problem, but Firefox has more features and is more secure. Just download it from http://firefox.com and install it.

it's actually software problem... but try this. reinstall it and don't install any programs (or just uninstall all of them that you have). also try updating the video card drivers or try another one.

check internet options to ensure you have not increased the security level
