A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed.
If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manugacturer for any windows updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select advanced startup options, and then select Safe Mode

Technical information:

Yeah I had that problem and HATED that damn Blue screen. It's a pretty common problem actually. I found out that it's usually related to the cooling system of the computer believe it or not. If there's too much dust it wont let the computer work right. I'd open that piece up and give it a nice cleaning. Then of course watch where you place the computer to keep it in a clean environment.

It's a driver that's either corrupt or not on the "WHQL" (Window Hardware Compatibility List).. you need to figure out WHICH driver it is.. it's going to be a driver you installed just before the system started freezing and displaying the blue screen. I had the same problem with an aftermarket video card I installed. I went BACK to the manufacturer's site and downloaded a driver that was on the WHQL. Just look for those letters to be listed somewhere around the driver, or somewhere in the details. If it's not, then you WILL have the same problem again. It's just Microsoft's way of saying that it's definitely compatible, no questions about it. Just follow the link to read more about it.

What you need from this screen is the STOP ERROR, or in your case 0x00000000A or 0x0A.

Its a error that is telling you something failed during a read operation. (Determined by the 3rd parameter in the ( ).

Basically when the computer tried to read something, it encountered a problem.

You can reinstall windows, which the professional will most likely do, or you can read the link below and try to hunt down the problem.

This is usually due to buggy drivers.

Windows can crash for any number of reasons.

If you did not install any new software or hardware recently,

it may mean that some of your drivers have gone bad. Try updating the drivers by going to windows update.

If you did install software/hardware recently, then look for updated drives for that program/component. You can try uninstalling the program/component and see if the crashes and freezes ceases.

It depends how it popped up. If it popped up during startup and continues doing so, unfortunately you have to reformat it. If it pops up when you start a program, discontinue using that program. I advise you to use a registry cleaner but beware, there are many fraudulent registry cleaners out there. Get Registry Mechanic, which I use, to clean up all those clutters in your computer. Contact me for the License Name and Code.

you're laid low with the BSOD (Blue show screen of dying). it is led to with the aid of dissimilar themes, particularly drivers. while booting the computer, hit f8 in simple terms in the previous the living house windows emblem looks and from the menu circulate into secure mode. right here you would be waiting to learn out the drivers an attempt to discover the offending driving force or difficulty. in case you won't be in a position to get into secure Mode, then you definately might might desire to repair your OS setting up.
