Open My computer

Right click on that drive where windows install

Now select " COMPRESS THIS DRIVE TO SAVE DISC SPACE "

Click on Apply button and then ok

Now it will take some time to compress.

Hence your windows drive has more disc space.

Sounds like your hard drive is partitioned to have C:\ as the boot drive and the other partitions are allocated for storage/page file.

Easiest way to beef up C is to bring up 'Disk Management', find your C:\ drive, right click on it and select 'Extend'. From there all your need to do is choose the partition you want to extend it onto and hit OK.

Personally I'd backup my data before doing this but I'm just a little bit paranoid =D

You can uninstall the programs, then install them in other drives.

Otherwise you have to use any drive partition softaware, I don't know any trusted freeware for this. So the Uninstall and reinstall will do the work for you, easily.

this would take place if the logical drives have been set properly whilst the device have been first preped, the way its written doesnt enable lots alternation, your suitable and saftest way is to backup whats on the D: and then delete the logicalpersistent then the logical partition, resize the C: power to despite length you like, and then recretae the logical D: returned with despite area are left with.

in my opinion, it is absolutely possible. but I'm afraid you should use a third party software to achieve this, which can help to Create, delete, re-size and format partition without data losing and time consuming.it is easy to operate.

Move your documents folders to the E drive.

This fairly easy, but varies according to your OS.

uninstall programs that not necessary and defrag your disk.
