Probably not, driver updates are usually to combat problem or something not working properly, not to make them run quicker.

Certain drivers can increase performance, (like nVidia's new series of drivers that have 20% better performance across the board with most games), but most driver updates are for bug fixes and stability updates, so that your devices work all the time and you don't get crashing.



It is always wise to update your drivers as soon as the newest version comes out.

Probably, as the drivers become more efficient and speedier (kinda like do more with less).



I always update, amd it seems to improve PC performance. Whenever possible, I subscribe to auto updates from the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).
