with questions like this there is no straight answer just a number of things to consider.
do you have spare usable space for both types? bear in mind that if your bios is set to legacy mode some ports may be unusable (switching to AHCI mode is a possibility but it opens a whole new can of worms of it's own).
do you plan to move this drive to future PCs? if so you should bear in mind that IDE is fast dissapearing from newer pc motherboards.
do you plan to add more drives to your system in future? if so will those drives be recycled from old machines or bought new. You may want to choose an IDE drive to keep sata ports free or to choose a SATA drive to keep IDE ports free depending on your future plans for the machine.

certain there's a huge difference. I personal between the suitable upconverting Blu Ray gamers on the marketplace. My LG great Blu participant does an excellent interest upconverting widespread DVD's. I actual have actual tricked some friends into questioning they were observing hi def. Then I put in a Blu Ray or an HD DVD only at the same time as they theory the photo couldn't get any extra perfect. they are blown away as there's a huge difference. the better your demonstrate is the bigger the version will be. A 1080p photo on a more beneficial 1080p demonstrate is the finest of the suitable and certain you may tell.
