I'll just randomly be doing something, like watching a streaming video,

and a blue screen pops up on the computer and basically says disable bios caching shadowing.

I use AGV virus protection and nothing has been found during a scan. I have used spybot search and destroy to get rid of basically all the adware and malware on my laptop, and still this problem persists.
The spybot search and destory however, did speed up my computer, it's not twice as fast! lol.

I've seen some other blogs/threads online people having this problem, the only solution i've found is to go into bios at system start up by pressing F2, and disable caching shadowing from there. However,
I can't find anything to do with caching shadowing when i do this! it's a toshiba laptop by the way.

Someone help please

The bit about caching and shadowing is based on 10 year old hardware. It has no application to modern hardware. If your computer is less than about 6 years old, you can ignore that part of the message.

Most likely, the problem is basic hardware unreliability, which may or may not be due to actual hardware problems. I would suggest starting out with a RAM diagnostic, ideally memtest86+. Let it run for several hours. One error is too many.

the setting is from inside your BIOS, hit F2 when starting. its really hidden, but it IS there.

Bios shadow cuases a lot of problems. it should be off, but its NOT a virus. its actually a very basic setting in the BIOS, its behind windows, a setting inside the laptop

you could purely get admission to the bios earlier abode windows starts off up. maximum desktops have a key to be pressed to get admission to it, like the (del) key or f-a million, or f-2, with the aid of fact the pc is powering on from the off state. in case you won't be able to confirm the message that exhibits which key to press, you would be able to rigidity it with an blunders situation, consisting of pressing and protecting down the (esc) key, or perhaps the insert key until eventually the pc stops with an blunders message that pronounces some issue like "keyboard blunders xx#" and "press f-a million to proceed or press (specific key named right here ) to go into the bios."
