Is there a way to customise a CD or DVD so that when you put it to play it shows what song is playing or the name of the movie?

Thanks!!

Isn't very clear what you means, I think you can add a DVD menu for all the movies in the DVD, then the viewer can select corresponding movies through the dvd menu. Burning video DVD with DVD menu from any movies, you can try RZ DVD Creaotr, it offer more dvd menu creation options for customize DVD menu, you can easy customize title menu and chapter menu(split chapter), can customzie the dvd menu background videos, pictures, musics, text, etc, and can add any texts, buttons, etc on DVD menu, easy to personalize DVD menu, of course it also can convert any formats movies to video DVD with DVD menu, and burn to any DVD disc(DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-R DL, DVD+R DL, etc), the burned video dvd can be played well on DVD player. You can yahoo or google search RZ DVD Creator and download it, easy to use, hope it can help you.

The display comes from the DVD Player, but you can however put a text over the movie but that will be a bit annoying to watch, you can make costume menus for it that will show up at the beginning and ask you which movie to play, that can be done with Magic DVD Maker (look it up)

It takes a couple of tries to get it too appear..just where ya' like it too be/

And at times..it didn't even show up in my final project..

Its Tricky..you may need to try twice..

Movie Maker 6

Windows Live Movie Maker..both will add captions..in the Timeline View.
