I have a Sandisk Cruzer Force 32GB flash drive. I want to enable write caching on it, but when I go to properties and check "enable write-cache" under 'better performance' it says I can't change the write-cache settings for the device.

I want to force this device to enable write-caching. I don't care about losing data or damaging the device, I just want it done. Is there a way?

I'm not positive about the Sandisk, but maybe you have to dedicate the entire stick to 'ReadyBoost' then see if you can write-cache.

you need to run gpedit.msc and go to cache settings and check enable write caching on all drives

You cant "Force" it to do something it is not designed to do.
