You cannot make a bootable image of your Hard Disk.

You can make an image of any of your drive by using Norton Ghost.

It will make an image file as .GHO

Download Hirens Boot CD image.

Explore it with Ultra ISO or any other ISO editable software.

Now add the image file in the Hirens Boot CD image File.

Burn it in a DVD.

Now you can restore your drive image using Norton Ghost from that Bootable DVD.

Do you have a Mac or PC. If its a Mac then it will be extremely easy, if you have a PC then you will need some serious computer knowledge to make a bootable image.
