Just wondering if I can get a Geforce GTX 260 to run in windows 2000 with the latest drivers nvidia supported for win2k: 94.24 (May 17, 2007).

The 9800GT is only a renamed 8800GT that's a pair of years previous now. decide for the unmarried card setup, it rather is going to be extra useful in maximum video games and grants a spare PCI-E slot to function yet another GTX 260 once you're able to have the money for/could desire to.

No,it will not work. You will get better gaming performance with XP, Vista, or Win 7.

No sorry, try installing windows xp as its the best OS i believe
my laptop = 1gb dual core windows xp .. faster than my sister's
2gb windows 7 dual core

There are no drivers for Win2k for that card. You will get a BSOD.
