Nvidia supports Direct X 10 and few of the latest games requres Direct X 11. In such case If i will be having Nvidia cards in future then how would i play them . I also found that my pc have Direct X 11 installed. But i am looking for NVIDIA cards under Rs.10000 To Rs.12000 , is there any way to solve this problem? Please Suggest me a card that can handle latest games releasing in the year 2010 and onwards. Currently I have HP Pavilion a6440in pc and i need a graphics card for it .Thanks.

No game requires DX11... in fact, only three games even support DX11. And honestly, DX11 isn't a huge leap from DX10.

But that being said, ATI's 5000 series is very nice series, but don't think you *have* to buy an ATI card because it's DX11. You can get some very nice nVidia cards as well. Don't even worry about DX11, just get a good video card that you like.

Both companies are great. There is no comparison. The difference depends on graphic cards models.I would suggest you go for "Nvidia GTS 250 or GTS 275".They are high-end cards and surely will last for two years.

Well as per some articles read by me on http://www.cyberdigital.info i think it is better to have NVIDIA as they are more advanced and compatible.

Plus better have a look at the prices also.
