I have a Q6600 running at 3.01 Ghz, which idles at 26-32°c, and a ATi HD 5770 that Idles at 40°c at 30% fan fan speed.

When I run Kombuster for 4 minutes my GPU only increases to 81°c (it's 79-80 after 2 minutes), and while gaming (1920x1080 resolution, playing Fable 3 at Max settings, or GTA4 at fairly high settings), I never see the GPU go over mid 80s.

My CPU I have never seen it go over 45°c.

My CPU cooler is a water cooled cooler (http://www.overclock3d.net/reviews/cases_cooling/corsair_h50_review/1)

I was wondering are these good temps? I am thinking of buying a fan controller to control the speed of my case fans to make my PC run quieter.

idles are good. Though under stress it seems to be overheating slightly. The Q6600 has some overheating issues, I have it on my old PC. When it was in my room, it was the warmes room in the apartment thanks to the PC.

The GPU temperature is fine, 81'c under full load is manageable, if you want to try lower the temperature try downloading Riva Tuner or something similar, this allows you to over ride the automatic fan settings for your graphics card, meaning you can set it to constantly be at 100% speed. Might make your pc a little louder but should lower the temperature a fair bit.

The CPU temperature is fine also, 45'c under full load is good. When it starts going over 60'c, that's when you need to investigate!

those temps are advantageous. besides the undeniable fact that they may well be decrease, basically be sure you case is certainly ventilated and which you have a case designed fr gaming factors like the Corsair C70. in the experience that your photos card has a reference layout cooler then it ought to run warmer than those with a aftermarket layout as they have extra advantageous warmth sinks and extra followers. comparable with you CPU have you ever offered an spectacular cooler for it, in my opinion the Corsair H100i is a very sturdy closed water cooling answer for a CPU and could shop the temps down and you from nerve-racking approximately them.
