You'll need DVD ripper software, and maybe DVD composer software if you want DVD's that will play on a standard player.

There are plenty freeware ones out there.

I have used convert X to DVD to write dvd's from AVI type files.

I forget which rippers I've tried

I use VLC media player to play anything I've ever tried

Check you Av and Antimalware are up to date before searching because on the searches some of the links take you to well dodgy sites.

I use AVG free antivirus and Spybot search and destroy for anti malware.
