I have researched a lo tinto CPUs and I know mine isn't the worst, especially since I just came from a core 2 duo T7700, however, is that CPU good for games or will it easily bottleneck my GPU? I mostly play skyrim, what's my maximum performance gpu I can use before the CPU starts bottlenecking it??

i7 is the current best.

CPU's do not "bottleneck" it is the Motherboard that does that.

MFGs match the CPU to the Motherboard, rarely to never do they put a "better" board with an inferior chip set.

WITCHER 3: is the most demanding current game.

• Intel CPU Core i7 3770 3,4 GHz,

• Nvidia GPU GeForce GTX 770

OR

• AMD CPU AMD FX-8350 4 GHz

• AMD GPU Radeon R9 290

with

• RAM 8GB

• OS 64-bit Windows 7 or 64-bit Windows 8 (8.1)

• DirectX 11

• HDD Space 40 GB

"Overclocking" means the chip is not up to the job.

I think that with a little overclocking, this would be good.
