USB safe removal problem?

whenever I want to remove USB, sometimes I get safe removal but most of the times it does not give safe removal option. it shows it is busy etc, even after waiting 10-15 minutes i could not eject USB safely. Pls. how to remove USB safely and why this problem is occuring. My PC has updated anti virus.

If you have anything open that is from your USB or any program open still, it will usually not allow you to take it our safely. make sure all the programs, folders, etc. that you were using are closed before you pull it out.

if you have some activity programmer like excel,word & any file open who save in your

pen drive first close these & than perform safe remove it should be work.
