Okay, so I downloaded the free trial version of the RZ DVD creator....sat forever while it did whatever it does only to find out that after all that time, it will not play on a home DVD player....tried several actually and it's still a no go.
I don't get it. I followed the step by step instructions, even pulled up the help menu...I did everything it said to do.
Is there something I may be missing?

Oh, rz dvd creator work well on my home, you can try play the created dvd with another dvd player again, some old dvd player cann't recognize the burnt disc, and you can try some good brand dvd writeable disc, such as Sony, Verbatim, Benq, TDK, Mitsubishi, are good brand, offer the better writeable dvd disc. Or you can try create ISO file with rz dvd creator at first, then burn ISO file to disc with your dvd burner drive bundle burner software. Don't create divx/xvid dvd, you should create standard video DVD with rz dvd creator.

If you want to burn any movies to DVD, usually free version only have the basic functions and poor services and watermark, i have used the good and inexpesive trial version AVS Disc Creator, you can try it, it can create standard video DVD from any videos, it can burn mulit videos to one disc, it can auto fit the size, it can directly convert and burn any videos to DVD, such as avi to DVD, etc.

Work well on my computer, it is trail version, register version willl remove watermark limit, inexpensive, good service and quality, i like it, following is a step by step guide about Video DVD Creator:
