I dont know if anybody can help me, but my at&t 2wire modem frequently disconnects from the internet. What can I do about this? I've done a little bit of research, and people say that changing the wire might help, but I'm still not sure whether i should do that or not.

I would definately try the filters like the other person said if you haven't already. If that isn't it, you can try a new ethernet cable or a new phone line cord. It won't hurt. If that still doesn't fix it, can you remember how long you've had the modem? It might still be under warranty with AT&T and they would exchange it for you. I had to exchange mine the first week I got it.

Do you have dsl filters connected to every phone point with a phone attached as well as to the modem? If so one may be faulty, try swapping them out in turn.
