if you are using XP, here are some steps you can take to begin to fix this problem... if you are using vista, me, 2000 or 98, the steps should be similar:

go to control panel-

probably click start, settings control panel

if you are not in classic view, click where it says switch to classic view

click system, hardware, device manager.

you will see a list of your parts, anything with an exclamation point has a potential problem.

if you can connect to the internet, do so and RIGHT click the items with the problems, then click update driver, windows will try to fix those problems. if you are not having any problems with any of your parts, (such as sound or modem or video) you can probably just temporarily disable the flaky parts,

just RIGHT click the problem item and select disable.

if you are having a problem with a part that the computer keeps detecting, you may need to locate your computers drivers CD and re-install the driver for the part having a problem.

if you cant find the driver CD, you may need to go online and download the driver for the part giving you the trouble. for instance, if you have a Dell, go to dell.com and find the drivers or support link, and search for your model of computer, such as diminsion 3000, make sure you know your operating system (you can see this information in your system section of control panel)

hope this helps

Control Panel | System | Hardware Tab | Device Manager. If you see any devices with yellow icons next to them, indicating they did not install properly, delete all of them and reboot. Once the system boots, it should prompt you for the installation of the hardware. It probably can't find the driver it needs and you'll need to download it from the Internet, do the same above again, and then install with the driver.

Usually, the driver will have an install program, and then after reboot, Windows will find it.

It is possible that you insert a new driver or usb etc. it will install automatically, let it instal until a pop-up says that the driver etc. is installed, as you said, you cannot disable that FOUND NEW HARDWARE WIZARD because the windows wants to intall a new hardware inserted to your computer. That's it!!

If any hardware attached with PC and had not installed then this wizard will pop up when you start your computer.

firstly, let it install automatically (it happened due to corruption of any hardware drivers).

Secondly, check the Device Manager,

Right click to my computer>properties>hardware then select Device Manager button.

You can check there any un-installed hardware, if is there any then it will show with yellow marked question mark. try to install if require or disable that.

Hope this will help.

Go ahead and check the device manager for damaged drivers or incompletely installed devices as others have advised, if you don't find anything wrong, right click my computer, select manage. Select remove able storage devices and delete them all. This error occurs occasionally with legacy USB devices.

Another possibility is a corrupted .NETFRAMEWORK installation or upgrade. Here is a link to Microsoft on how to repair it.

either you plugged something new into your computer and your computer is trying to install it OR you accidently uninstalled something currently in your computer, like a driver.

either unplug or reinstall that peice of hardware to disable it.

install the driver for that hardware using above steps.

if not want to install then cheak the option

not this time.

i think this will help.
