Do a 'Pen Drive' and a 'USB Drive' mean one and the same thing?

Plz explain. Also tell what is a Flash Drive?

Actually I wanted to buy a 'Pen Drive'. After initial search on the internet I found these 3 terms. This is confusing me. I want to carry and transfer my documents with a drive (not a floppy). So which one should I buy: Pen Drive or USB Drive or Flash Drive?

all are really same and there is no difference between them, these terms are just like different names for the same thing, and as far as the pen drive thing is concrened it is not at all connected to any pen .So as many others and i hv said ,flash/usb/pen drives are all the same!

USB and Flash drive are the same thing. A pen drive might be attached to a pen or something so don't get that.
