Problem in installing XP in p-4 2.4 Ghz , 845 gl motherboard, 128 RAM, when i am installing xp in my pc in processing of installation the system files are transfered but when it is restarted it is going hange

are you installing from BOIS or from original OS?



if not from BIOS, then try it - (wipes out all original files, and replaces them with the XP ones from the disc)



put your CD in, restart, if it says boot from disc say yes if not press F8 or something right at the start of the load up process and change the boot sequence to start with cd-rom drive or similar. go from there.

XP is going to REALLY struggle with 128MB RAM, add more ram and try again

You have a hardware conflict, or memory problem.
