First you have to decide which type of Television (TV) program you want to see. There are basically two types of TV transmission. The popular one is through Radio Frequency (RF), another one is through internet stream video.

To receive the TV program through RF, you need a proper RF receiver, which is called normally Radio or Transistor or TV set alongwith antenna or through cable from cable operator.

And to see the internet TV program, you need only proper soundcard installed in your computer system. Now a days most of all soundcard are capable to do this.

For internet TV, you need a high speed internet connection with your computer or laptop. To see the normal TV through RF on laptop you have to use a external TV Card and for desktop computer you can use a external TV Card as well as internal TV Card. You need this TV Card basically to get the TV signal from the Radio Waves from air.

i do not comprehend the features of your cutting-edge video setup, yet a television will regularly only exhibit the same ingredient as your video exhibit and also you ought to apply one or the different, yet not both. you opt on a twin video exhibit setup to do what you opt on which require 2 output ports from the video card, or, 2 video playing cards.

yes, but you need a very fast internet connection and a p2p program to download your favorite tv shows; or if you are in the usa, you can view them online in their own network websites

If you have internet access, there are TV shows that are available online.
