Hi,

I'm trying to delete a folder (and subfolders and files) from my USB drive. I have full access but when I tried to delete it, I'm getting following error:

Error Deleting File or Folder
Cannot delete DO_NOT_DELETE: Access is denied.
Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected
and that the file is not currently in use.

This folder was created by Windows Live OneCare application for back up. I have uninstalled OneCare program, but I can't remove this from my USB drive.

I even tried to remove it from command line, but can't delete it.

Please help

it's prolly being used my a backgroud process... OR you have to have the absolute full version of the original program on the flash drive inorder for the delete command line to be in order and carry out the deletion process... try installing the live one care on the thumbdrive then deleteing that one file... then the rest of them. sometimes for files to be deleted they have to have their counterparts.

Check the properties of the file, specifically the access.

as the previous person said, remove it from process..Do this by going to the process list and removing it. Its the Windows Task Manager, and find it there ,and click on it then click "end process"
