1. You cannot change the CPU on this laptop. It's not like a desktop where you can change out every part.

2. You cannot change the CPU from an Intel to AMD. Obviously your motherboard would only support one CPU make.

3. There are no "K" series C2D chips.

4. Your problem is your weak video card the Radeon 4350M is well below the minimum specs for virtually any modern game. Unfortunately you won't be able to replace it either.

You don't seem to grasp the limitations that are involved with laptop upgrades. Bottom line, you're going to need to purchase a new computer if you want to improve your gaming performance.

with 10g you might aswell make a new system from scratch with the bst of the bst.

CPU wise u want the i1-3960k probably and would recommend the Asus rampage extreme z motherboard and 16gb ram and the new 7970 (mayb 2?). Also get yourself a sexy case to hold this beast of a pc in and dont forget the custom fans and cooling for those fast components especially if oc.

Also get some good headphones or speakers and myb a soundcard (depends) n a really good monitor (or even up 2 3)

Plze pick me as bst answer

PS: nice budget!

may i ask why you want to change processor? cuz even if you throw a new one in that would be faster, it will not give you any performace increase as your graphic card is way to slow either way
