help my puter is running very slow?

MY PUTER IS RUNNING VERY SLOW EVEN WITH DSL, ANY SUGGESTIONS? ALSO, WHEN I TRY TO PLAY A GAME, A WINDOW POPS UP TELLING ME SCRIPT, ADOBE FLASH MAKING THIS MOVIE BAD, DO YOU WANT TO ABORD IT? PLEASE HELLPPPP!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

Helps to have the right info.

RAM size? O/S? Make and model? When did it start happening? Have you change any software or hardware that may have effected computer operation?

Do you actively run an antivirus program?

Slowness can be:

1. Virus/spyware. - scan and remove

2. Heat - is unit dirty or have any fans stopped running?

3. Not enough memory - add more RAM

4. Bad HDD or seriously defragged drive - run Defrag

5. Unauthorized programs running in background - may need to clean up start up lists.



Adobe Flash issue not likely related to slowness.

don't do it. 9 tim out of 10 thoes are spyware. Just get a few good spyware removal programs. Some exapmles are ad-aware spybot spysweeper I believe AVG has one and if you Have windowsXP you can download microsofts anti spyware program and use that. f your a bit more advanced in computers try hijack this. After that if its still slow look at how many programs you are running on your pc at start up it could also be possible thatyou need a memory upgrade. Try the spyware option first best of luck

Most likely its a virus of some sort, Run a few virus checks and check to see if you might have adware on your computers and stuff like that. A good program to get rid of that kind of stuff is Ad-Aware SE and you can download it at www.downloads.com. Hopfully you find it and it helps.

first u might try running a good spyware app if u are having a lot of popups that might be one cause second u might try completley unintalling the game and do a reinstall

one of the reason is that the ram of ur pc use 512MBor 1GB ram & also defregment ur data.go to system tools thers is a disk defregmenter click it and then defregment ur disk it takes several mins but it works ok if ur problem solved then pls give the ans of my problem also pls..
