I recently got a new PC and I've been getting numerous Blue Screen of Death errors. I've noticed that they occur randomly when i'm browsing the internet.
They started only after i got a D-Link Wireless Desktop PCI Adapter installed. So is it possible that the BSODs are caused because its not installed properly or is it faulty altogether? Should i get a new PCI?
I've tried updating drivers and scanning the PC for viruses, but i used my PC for only 1 day before getting the D Link PCI so i can't be sure that it is the main reason.
Please help. Thanks in advance

Yes, BSOD can be caused by hardware. Try removing the adapter, it's very likely to be the problem. Also, the problem might be faulty drivers.

Yes, BSOD can be caused by many things. From Hardware to Software.

Try going to your BIOS and disable your Built-in LAN adapter and restart your computer. If you're planning on using only your wireless adapter.

Maybe there's an incompatibility with the wireless lan and your builtin one.

Yes, Blue Screen of Death Errors can be caused due to faulty or incompatible hardware (e.g. SDRAM, VGA adapter, etc.). Sometimes because of conflicts.

1) Try to load your Windows in Safe mode (hit F8 after turning on your computer until you get the options for loading your Windows in different modes), choose "Safe mode" (not the one with the networking)

2) and if you don't get the error, restart your pc and try to load Windows in Safe mode with networking. If no errors, go to the Device Manager, and disable your WLAN-adapter, then restart your pc with normal mode (just do nothing after you restart it), and if you don't get a BSoD, it means something is wrong with you WLAN (physically or just due to incompatibility).

3) If you get some errors, try to physically disconect WLAN-adapter and to start your pc again
