How do I setup my new Apple Ipad?

I need simple setup instructions for my new Apple Ipad

Firstly connect it to the computer you will use it with. You will need iTunes installed.



If you don't have one, you'll be prompted to make an apple ID.



You should now check your iPad has the most up to date version of iOS available. This is done with a button in iTunes.



Once your iPad is up to date, you can start to download apps, music and films etc.



Remember to connect your iPad with your computer regularly to back it up. This is no longer totally necessary as iCloud has been introduced, but will be slightly more reliable.

If it's already running iOS 5 then setting up should be as easy as entering a few info before you can start using it without having to plug it to a computer. But of course, you can still do the latter if you have stuff to sync like music or movies, etc. via iTunes.
