A disk read error occured. Press Ctrl-Alt-Del to Reboot Vista Help!!!!?

Okay, here' show it all started:
I was gonna wipe my whole computer by going to recovery manager. Once I got to the process, it started reinstalling all factory programs, etc. My main objective was to make the computer so it was as if it just came from the factory. Then, out of nowhere, the computer shuts down. Now, everytime I time on my computer, the HP Invent shows up, then comes this text saying 'A disk read error occured. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart. Please, can somebody help me on this? I don't want to lose my HP! If you need to know, I have a windows vista home. The model is HP Pavilion DV6000. Please help!

all i can suggest is press F11 when you start the pc and do the recovery again as it can be started from there
