should i get a laptop or a desk top?

i no im going to buy a mac but now i need to decide between a desk top and a laptop
i like the lap to so i can carry it around and sit out side and stuff but the desk because its really like i dont but just help me decide

Definitely a desktop. They are more upgradable, cost less, FASTER and look better. I could get a desktop up to 4GHz if I had the parts. That's not even a milestone. 4GHz for a laptop will only come in about 2 years+-.



Desktops are also more enjoyable and don't get as hot as laptops due to the superior cooling.



If you are a gamer, then it's definite that you must get a desktop. If you travel a lot or are a businessman, then I suggest a laptop.

The desk top is easier to use and control. I can do more in photo programs.

If you want to pose and look good, get a laptop.

If you want to work on the move, get a laptop.

If you don't feel the need to pose, and you don't need it to be mobile, a desktop will be more powerful.
