soooooo....my sims 2 game is really laggy and slow and I'm pretty sure its because of the memory. i dont' have very many programs on my computer except sims 2. i think i have a 512 mb ram and i've heard you need 1 gb ram to make it run fast and smooth. sooo much question is how much does it cost for 1gb RAM memory?

I have 2gb RAM & 2.2 Core 2 Duo processor in my lappy, & with no other apps running Sims 2 still likes to run a little laggy with all gfx on midway. Otherwise, RAM is pretty cheap now

It depends on what type of memory your computer has. You can always check to find out what kind of memory it has at kingston.com. http://www.kingston.com/ Memory search is on the first page. Just select the manufacturer and the the model. The configurator will tell what type of memory and much your computer will support. depends on what type of computer you have. if your motheboard supports ddr2 sdimm u can get a 1 gig chip (ddr1) for like 20$.. itll only be pc3200 or so but its better than nothing.
