Hey I want to make apps for iphone (the iPhone sdk). It says to download/run the sdk you need an intel based mac running snow lepard. I do not want a "true" mac. Will either of these two things work:

1) If I hackintoshed a dell mini 10v would I be able to run and download the iphone sdk?

2) I have a HP Pavilion dv6500 Notebook PC with an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU (About 1.50GHz) running Windows Vista. Would I be able to run Rebel EFI or a program like that to run the iphone sdk.

If I need to give more information just tell me. Thanks

Yes, you sure can. Actually, I did the same thing. I installed iPC 10.5.6 (works fine!) and downloaded the SDK. YOu can run it and everything. I would recommend finding a guide on installing iPC, iATKOS, or iDeneb on your laptop (so you know exactly which one has all the required "drivers" you need for that laptop.

You cannot just run the SDK from an EFI bootloader. You'll need a full installation of OS 10.6. If you can Hackintosh the Mini or run it in a VM, then yes, you can run the SDK. Get ready for all kinds of fun when you try to get it working, though.

If you want more details then check osx86project.org for some compatibility lists and instructions and register on the insanelymac.com forums.
