StickyKeys is an accessibility feature designed for people who have difficulty holding down two or more keys at a time. When a shortcut requires a key combination such as CTRL+P, StickyKeys will enable you to press one key at a time instead of pressing them simultaneously. This procedure tells you how to turn on StickyKeys through Accessibility Options in Control Panel.

if you press shift 5 times sticky keys comes up.

sticky keys enables you to press shift let it go and press a normal letter, it then makes the letter turn in to a capital.

basically sticky keys helps if you are oly typing with one finger,so you don't have to hold down a key to make a capital letter.

Not exactly sure but it always gets turned on when I press the SHIFT key repeatedly. Try it yourself, keep pressing the SHIFT key and a little box will come up saying what StickyKeys does.

They are a really annoying thing that should just be disabled....

I never actually knew what it was for but I know that its out of date now and when you press certain keys more than 5 times in a row it will go to your desktop and pop that up, which is REALLY annoying while playing games....

I only half remember this so here goes:

Basically it means that if a button is pressed again and again and again Windows assumes that the key is stuck and disabled that button until it stops.... Or something like that.

Despite what they say above I'm fairly sure it can be disabled.

it is basically a way for your computer to figure out weather a key on your keyboard is sticking or you are intentionally pressing it multiple times, must be disabled to play most games that require repetitive key strikes, and is of no real use unless your keyboard is malfunctioning
