Hi everyone. My question is if your computer has a 2.66GHz processor core 2 duo and the software requires 3GHz?

Does your computer have the proper requirements? Because I understand that 2 processors help you to multitask, but this software requires 3GHz compared to my 2.66GHz even though there are 2 processors at 2.66GHz.

It'll work. Just make sure you have at least 2gb of ram. If you're using vista, it's a useless resources hog. You might have to disable a lot of garbage running in the background in the startup menu. If you're using anything else you have plenty.
A car won't perform as well if it's pulling a trailer, so remove the trailer when you don't need it, or buy a bigger car or engine.
With 2, 2.66ghz on board it's almost as fast as 1 5.32ghz processor... but not quite. Think of it like a woman can make 1 baby in 9 months, but 2 women can make 2 babies in 9 months.
Plus if your pc is streamlined or not using vista you got resources to spare. Shut off apps you're not using to free up more if you need to.
If you got a decent graphics card, it also frees up more CPU & other resources.
But my bet is it'll be just fine.

What type of 3 ghz processor does it require? If it is asking for Pentium/Athlon 3 ghz, then your Core 2 Duo is fine.

Your fine these game stats often refer to Pentium D class CPUs.
