My pc keyboard freezes from time to time?

My old keyboard has the same problem, whenever I turn on my computer the keyboard freezes(and sometimes the keyboard cannot be detected at all) I either restart the system or wait for like less than 30 mins. for the keyboard to work again.

so I bought a new keyboard 4 weeks ago. It works just fine till yesterday, it started freezing up again. the system detected the keyboard but it still doesnt seem to work. and when i press the num lock button, nothing happens. wtf is wrong with the keyboard(or my pc) ???

I think that you've got right at the end. I think that the USB in which you connect the keyboard is damaged or that the USB Card inside the PC is. Try to connect it to another USB. If its wireless then check the battery, make sure the wireless cord is in place and can send signal to the keyboard etc



if its not wireless then check the connections (if the usb is in place) if it IS a usb, then change slots and see if that helps, if its them old purple colourd wire ones then its thats probably the problem
