whats wrong with these keys on my keyboard?

Question

just yesterday some keys on my keyboard stopped working and i can't understand why
i didn't spill any drink and all the plugs are fine
its only a few keys:
the dash key
the squiggly line key underneath the esc key
the plus and equal sign key

help please?

if it is laptop try fn + F8

How old is the keyboard, for the Tilde and Hyphen to Die is quite odd and it may be the keyboard itself since they are far apart so my guess is the keyboard has lived its last life and dieing. Have you tried a different keyboard? Borrow one from a friend.
