I have an ATI RADEON X600 video driver. I play team fortress 2 a lot, and about 2 months ago I started having trouble where my pc would crash after 5 minutes of playing, which I later found out was caused by overheating of the video driver because dust blocked the fans ability to cool the video driver.I followed instructions people gave me and used a can of compressed air and a vacuĆ¼m to clean out the whole inside of my pc. the fan was allready too damaged to work on it's own, so I had to spin it up manually upon booting up my pc. now my expectations came true and the fan finally broke and doesn't work anymore, at all. does anyone know how to fix the fan, or find an alternative way?

Have a look at the fan and the dimensions of the fan plus the DC power that it is using. Then go onto ebay or to a computer shop and you possibly can buy a fan with similar dimensions and power. I have done this for a different graphics card and it worked like a dream

There is no way to fix the fan, if you are looking for a temporary solution you can try keeping it cool by blowing a larger window fan or something on it. Hopefully it will keep it cool enough. You will have to search for a replacement fan online, or you can check a local computer parts store. You might be able to get away with a generic fan if you can rig it right, but judging from your question, you probably arent that computer Savvy. So see what happens, and then you will be forced to replace it, just try to do it cheaply. Good luck
