The CPU fan of my desktop is some times noisy and when this happens
1-it really doesn't keep my CPU cool
2- the CPU temp is rising in the setup screen
3- shutting down the computer and restarting it B4 windows loads doesn't solve the problem, neither does removing the power cord for some times
4- the only way to overcome this situation is to let windows load and then shutting down and restart the computer
So, what is wrong with my Computer?
Thank you in advance

It gets noisy because the bushing on the fan shaft is dry which causes friction that makes the noise and also causes the fan to slow down and not cool the cpu as well as it should. Sometimes you can put a drop of oil on it as a temporary fix, but in the end you'll need to replace it or have it replaced.

Edit

Did you replace the fan on the processors heatsink without removing the heatsink from the processor? If you removed the entire heatsink/fan assembly you MUST remove the old thermal compound and then apply new compound. Not doing so will cause the processor to run hotter.

If, on the other hand, you are mistakenly calling your computer a "cpu" instead of the processor (CPU=Central Processing Unit=processor), and are referring to one of the other fans inside your computer, you have misdiagnosed the problem to us, making it difficult to offer sound advice.

Which fan did you replace, a case fan or the one on your processor? There's a big difference.

its familiar to pay attention some noise, even inspite of the shown fact that it sounds like the fan is failing, and desires to get replaced earlier long. a failure of a cpu cooling fan will reason the laptop to prepare dinner the cpu , making the laptop a ineffective paper weight. there is equipped in secure practices for the cpu even inspite of the shown fact that, and this over warmth dont kill computers as lots anymore. if i've got been you i might open the edge of the case, and seem interior , is there 3 inches of dirt in there ?? get a can of air, and blow out the dirt from everywhere, interior the followers, below the fan on the cpu , in the fins of the cpu cooler warmth sink. if the cpu fan is the single making noise then you definately can see that it in simple terms unscrews, and a replace is going maximum appropriate lower back in there. in simple terms take the old fan to the laptop keep, and that they gets you a maximum appropriate replace.

If the cpu fan is noisy then there is a problem with it. You may need to replace the fan.

Does it sound like a grinding? if it is a desktop just give the fan a good tap in the center if the noise stops then yes you need a new fan.

Replace the fan.
