my start menu looks like windows 98 and many other things are wrong. please help!?

my start menu is suppost to be blue but its gray. and then my computers acting really slow. just like 10 minutes ago it was perfect. and my window for the internet keeps having to close and then restore itself. please help. especially with the start menu.

do a virus scan and spyware scan and if it finds viruses the program should quarantine them. then you should go to your quarantine and delete the virus file. the you should restart the computer and if the start menu is the same just click anywhere where there is a free space on you desktop bar and click on properties and there will be a windows called taskbar and start menu propeties. switch to the tab start menu and make sure it is not on classic start menu.

right click the desktop, click properties and use the themes tab to change it back to what it normally looked like. You could have a virus download AVG or Spybot search and destroy. There are a variety of free antivirus programs on the web. If all else fails you can go to www.geekstogo.com and post your problem in the appropriate forum, they are pretty quick about giving responses and I am confident they could help you.

Go desktop and right click then chose properties

and select XP theme .. if that's not enough try to go to start menu and choses Accessories and after that click System Tools and finally system restore and restore u system

accurate click on your toolbar then houses replacing the topic decrease back to vista once you've themes with that way then click on the starting up key (bottom left of your demonstrate screen) administration panel then matters from there. Any themes be at liberty to e-mail me thanks
