Question:
CPU Temp????

I've tried various system monitors, and they all are saying the same thing. It says core 1 is running @ 12C idle and core 2 is running at like 5C

That sounds a little cold... I need to get my processor a sweater

Do you think the system monitors are wrong? I've tried tons of them.

Hi, there should be a CPU Temperature option in your bios.

By the way which operating system and which program r u using to check the temperature.

If the bios gives u a low temperature then u could try diverting the cpu's location to a place in which less air reaches it. Also some people remove the casing of the cpu, if u have done that then put it back on.

For frying the egg.....how about doing breakfast outside today?......LOL!

You've acquired a few main cooling energy in this computer, however an absolutely sizzling processor. 46C is not particularly hot however at idle it would be cooler. It's mainly the CPU that runs hotter than the process -- it truthfully throws probably the most warmness into the process (until you have acquired a fairly sizzling portraits card going too). It is a bit of unusual that each process and cpu temps are same. A probe would be at fault. You could seem into getting a gigantic cooler fan for the CPU -- you'll be able to most commonly quiet matters down and make the entire process run cooler as good. Zalman makes a few first-rate coolers.

hi

DO NOT BELIEVE SYSTEM MONITORS!!!!!

see for yourself the temperature

when ur system starts up press the delete key

then go to hardware properties(i'm not accurate in specifying tab names as u have not specified ur motherboard name well assuming that ur motherboard is asus brand)then goto NORTH BRIDGE CONFIGURATION.there u wud find the processor temperature &the electricity which passes through it in volts.

ther u wud find out the real temperature.

if it still shows a low temperature.try putting some silica gel packets into ur cpu case.it is usually available in all pharmaceutical stores.

anyway if u ask me cold temperatures are best suited for rich gaming experience.

cheers!

P.S:may be ur living in a cold place

Sounds not right; but if BIOS has no monitoring screen it means there is no allowance to let the monitoring API programming. I'm at Toronto and hotter core going 40C already.
