It definitely sounds like a driver issue. The reason your computer can go into Safe Mode and not Normal is because Safe Mode only loads minimal drivers with which the system can start. Try first, to unplug all your USB devices ( Ipod etc.) Try Last Known Good Configuration at the boot menu (where you chose Safe Mode). If that fails, go into System Properties in Control Panel, Hardware tab, then click Device Manager. Check to make sure there aren't any conflict warnings with any devices (is there any new device that's been installed recently?) It might the one causing the problems.

The IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL could be a number of things. I normally hear though that it's down to a CPU being too hot.

Download something like Hardware Monitor and keep an eye on the CPU temps to make sure they're okay.

The BSOD is almost certainly hardware related.

Your pc may be infected by viruses. You can use an anti-virus software to scan your pc and see whether there are viruses or not. If it is the problem of the virus, just kill it. If not, you can try this software http://www.1Click-Optimize-Pc.com. I know it can deal with the blue screen problem and many other errors about the pc. I used it to optimize my pc all the time and I found it was very efficient and easy to use. You can have a try . I hope it can help you.

welcome to the new game of DELL-WORLD, my guess you have many viruses, worms, and trojans. On every machine i work on i remove McAfee, such a garbage program. You need to wipe the hard drive and start all over. you will need a realtime security program, My choise is windows live one care. $49us covers everything, you can have a free trial for 90 days. If you like it you can get the same program from tigerdirect for $39us, good luck

If you still have your manual, it should provide a toll-free phone number for tech support. They will ask for the serial number, which can usually be found on the back of your computer. They will walk you through solving your problem.

Sounds like you need to do a system restore or reformat your computer. Sorry.
