I have an onboard NVIDIA Geforce 6150se nForce 430 but will the onboard gpu affect DVD Playing or the quality?

Alright I have a GPU NVIDIA Geforce 6200 Turbo cache but as my monitor display was turning off randomely so I removed the gpu and plugged in to the on board NVIDIA Geforce 6150se nForce 430 and I am not having any display problems now.But will it affect the DVD Playing on my PC and will it harm my DVD or Video files?

First of all - it won't harm your DVDs or video files.



There's really not much between those cards. I'd be surprised if you spotted any difference on movie playback. You're in the best position to know though - try it.

No, I don't think so.



DVDs and Video files don't use enough GPU power to mess with anything.



They are small commands compared to the graphics GPUs are made to handle like in 3D gaming.



No harm will be done either.
